Rated 5 out of 5 by GerryL from Battery will last if... I have both read and experienced that with Lithium batteries you can not leave it discharged for a long time. As soon as it discharges completely, you need to charge it asap. It will not hurt to charge it back even if it is not completely dischaged. Now, if the battery is warm/hot to the feel - let it cool first before placing it back on the charger. I usually bring it inside my house (with A/C) for a couple hours then I put it in the charger. I have been using one battery for both my blower and trimmer for over 3 years now and have no problems.

I bought a hedge trimmer, am now getting a pole saw powered by the same battery. I like that you can leave it plugged in without doing it any harm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sallie from Excellent little screwdriver I have had this screwdriver/battery for several years & it has seen a lot of use! Recently, the battery finally gave it up. After doing some research, I decide to buy a new screwdriver/battery combo since it was only about $10 more than the replacement battery for the old screwdriver. It gave it up a couple of weeks later--not the battery, the screwdriver failed. Returned it & got this battery--it has served me well for years so no reason to think this one won't do just as well. Plus, I liked the old screwdriver more than the newer version by Black and Decker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Annie74 from Holds little charge I bought compact3in 1 mower weedeater. Came with two of these batteries. Would not hold charge i returned it and bought another. The second one worse than the first 5-10 charge max. It is a shame. Because I like the mower.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Texas from Don't waste your money If you want to ensure you will want to buy a replacement item, then go ahead and buy ANY Black & Decker product. We have 20V and 18V products. If you want a product to last 15 minutes after beginning use after a full charge - this is your product. We are saving to buy something else - NEVER B&D again. I am severely disappointed how the qualify of B&D has fallen over the last few years.
